Architecturra is a trompe l'oeil grid of architectural vignettes—arches, pediments, classical fragments—printed to look hand-coloured, with small motifs (hearts, eyes) hidden within the composition. Inspired by an antique document and designed by Johnson Hartig, the pattern has the scale and detail of a mural, the 182-centimetre vertical repeat asking for height to be seen properly. The coated paper gives a subtle sheen that lifts the printed surface.
Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide and sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls, with a 65-centimetre horizontal repeat. The paper is spongeable and available in three colourways. It suits feature walls, hallways and larger rooms where the scenic scale can unfold.
