Schumacher | Arita Block Print

Arita Block Print is a hand-printed wallcovering inspired by traditional Indian paisleys, with soft foliage and floral details worked onto a silky string ground. The medium-scale design is built up in a painstaking, multi-step process that gives it the irregular beauty and tactile depth of true block printing.

Made in Italy, it is 90 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 14 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 8 centimetres, sold by the metre from rolls of 7.9518 metres. It is washable and suited to walls where texture and a gentle, hand-worked character are wanted.
