Schumacher | Arklow Paisley

Arklow Paisley is a jacquard-woven paisley damask printed on cotton, the motifs arranged in a formal repeat that reads as both pattern and texture. The design has the weight of classicism without stiffness, the paisley softened by the woven ground so it sits comfortably in traditional and less formal rooms alike. The repeat is nearly square, at 33 by 34 centimetres, giving an even, balanced coverage.

Woven and printed in India from pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, the cotton lending itself to everyday use while the jacquard construction adds body and a subtle relief to the surface.
