Arum Lilies is based on a nineteenth-century fabric used at Chartwell House, the home of Winston Churchill, and printed on linen in the United Kingdom. The design is a medium-scale floral with a soft, painterly quality, the flowers rendered in washes of colour rather than hard outlines, so the pattern has an ease and informality despite its historical provenance.
Printed on 100 per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 91 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 46 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
