Asher is a ribbed stripe woven from thick and thin cotton yarns, the variation in weight creating a fine, dimensional texture across the cloth. The stripe is subtle, more a play of light and shadow than a graphic device, so the fabric reads as textured rather than patterned.
Woven in India from cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, and is available in several colourways.
