Ashford Linen is a whimsical floral in which an exuberant plant flowers from a painted cachepot, the naivety of the drawing lending it charm and lightness. The design dates to the 1930s and carries that decade's confidence in pattern at scale, the large repeat giving curtains and upholstery a generous, unfussy presence.
Printed in the United Kingdom on pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 64 centimetres and a horizontal of 69. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is also available as a wallpaper. It is offered in several colourways.
