Astor is a wide, leafy striped wallpaper drawn from a nineteenth-century French document in Schumacher's archive, created to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States. The design reads as a classic vertical stripe enriched with botanical detail, bringing a stately, ordered rhythm to a wall without overstatement.
Rotary-printed in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 13-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the roll at 4.113 metres per roll. Washable and suited to wallcovering, it is available in several colourways.
