Astor Chenille Paisley is a woven paisley in chenille, the pile giving the motif a soft, almost velvet hand and a subtle lustre that shifts as light moves across the cloth. The pattern is worked in ebony, the dark ground allowing the texture of the chenille to define the design rather than relying on colour contrast.

Woven in the United States from sixty per cent cotton and forty per cent rayon, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of forty-two centimetres and a horizontal repeat of seventeen. Dry cleaning is recommended. The chenille construction suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, the pile adding warmth and depth to each application.
