Astrid Embroidered Tape takes a floral scroll motif common to Swedish household linens and blankets and renders it in openwork embroidery on cotton. The pattern has a humble, domestic character, the kind of detail found on vintage textiles rather than formal furnishings. It belongs to the New Traditional collection.
Made in India from 100% cotton, it is 8 centimetres wide with a 6-centimetre horizontal repeat, and is available in three colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstery as flat trim where a folk-inspired, handcrafted edge is wanted.
