Auguste Stripe is a rotary-printed stripe of varying widths on linen, the printing method giving the lines depth and tonal variation rather than flat colour. The medium-scale pattern—with a 5-centimetre vertical and 8-centimetre horizontal repeat—has enough rhythm to hold a room but not dominate it.

Printed in the United Kingdom on pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The mid-weight cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and layers well with other patterns.
