Schumacher | Autumn Cutwork

Autumn Cutwork is a delicate botanical worked into sheer cotton using a jacquard technique that gives the effect of openwork embroidery. The pattern is small in scale—a 13-centimetre vertical repeat—so it reads as an all-over texture rather than a pronounced motif, filtering light softly at a window.

Woven in India from pure cotton, the cloth is 122 centimetres wide with a 17-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds and other sheer applications where a gentle, botanical texture is wanted.
