Avalon Tape is an embroidered diamond pattern on a fourteen-centimetre width, drawn from a design in the Schumacher archive. The extra width and the clarity of the geometry give it presence, so it works as a band of pattern rather than a modest edge.
Made in India from cotton and spun polyester, it has a twenty-four-centimetre vertical repeat and a fourteen-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture, and is available in a choice of five colourways.
