Schumacher | Aventurine

Aventurine is composed of slender natural feathers, hand-gathered and applied individually to each panel to create a dense, textural surface with a tonal depth and subtle lustre. The labour-intensive process ensures that every panel carries its own character, the feathers catching and diffusing light across the wall.

Made in Taiwan and sold by the panel, each measures 99 centimetres wide and just over three metres in length. It is a wallcovering that asks to be treated gently: vacuum only with a soft brush to preserve the integrity of the feathers.
