Schumacher | Aviary

Aviary is the work of the illustrator Saul Steinberg, the design exemplifying his imaginative, graphic hand. The pattern is botanical in subject but distinctly illustrative in treatment, with a large repeat that needs full-length curtains or substantial upholstery to be read as intended.

Printed in the United Kingdom on cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 93-centimetre vertical repeat and 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is also available as a wallcovering.
