Schumacher | Ayla Embroidery

Ayla Embroidery is a vertical stripe inspired by an antique rug, worked in machine-guided embroidery on a mid-weight linen ground. Cross stitch and satin stitch are combined to build texture and dimension across the surface, so the stripe reads as much through relief as through colour. The vertical repeat is 40 centimetres, the horizontal 66, giving the design a medium scale that works well on curtain panels where the full height can be appreciated.

Made in India from linen with spun polyester embroidery, it is 132 centimetres wide and part of the Exquisite Embroideries collection. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in a choice of colourways.
