Babe's Tweed is a marled tweed woven from multi-coloured yarns and silk ribbons of varying widths, the mix giving the cloth a couture character and a lively, textured surface. The weave reads as both refined and informal, equally at ease on upholstery or as curtains where the varied yarns catch and diffuse light.
Made in India from 46 per cent viscose, 28 per cent silk, 18 per cent polyester and 8 per cent cotton, the cloth is 137 centimetres wide and is offered in four colourways. It suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and dry cleaning is recommended.
