Baker is a geometric jacquard that layers subtle pattern onto what might otherwise be a plain cloth, the design reading quietly until the light catches the weave. The repeat is modest enough to sit comfortably on upholstery without dominating, and the mix of viscose, cotton and silk gives the cloth a soft lustre.
Woven in Italy, it is 138 centimetres wide with a 25-centimetre vertical repeat and a 35-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, offering a discreet geometry that works with rather than against other elements in a room.
