Schumacher | Balamil Handwoven Panel

Balamil Handwoven Panel is a cotton brocade woven on a traditional backstrap loom in Mexico, created in collaboration with Onora and local artisans. Geometric motifs punctuate the cloth in a rhythm that is both simple and considered, the narrow width and hand process giving each length a quiet individuality.

It is woven entirely from cotton, 50 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 90 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The narrow width and handwoven character suit cushions particularly well, and also upholstery where panels can be seamed or used as accents. It is offered in two colourways.
