Schumacher | Banbridge Herringbone

Banbridge Herringbone is a tightly woven jacquard with a miniature herringbone grain that reads almost as a texture rather than a pattern. The subtle variations inherent to the linen and cotton give the cloth a natural, lived-in character, while the tiny repeat—just one centimetre vertically and four horizontally—means the weave sits quietly in the background, a foundation rather than a statement.

Woven in Belgium from roughly equal parts linen and cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, and its understated grain works across both traditional and contemporary schemes.
