Banyan Tape Narrow is a hand-woven ikat in which warp-printed threads create a layered, softly blurred pattern, the stripe running along the edges while the ikat motif occupies the centre. The technique gives the tape dimension and depth, the dye bleeding into the weave in a way that feels both deliberate and organic, with vertical and horizontal repeats of nine and five centimetres respectively.
Made in India from 100 per cent cotton, it is five centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstery as a decorative border, and is offered in six colourways.
