Baracoa Embroidery arranges climbing geckos across the cloth, each rendered in hand-drawn geometry that tilts slightly off true, so the pattern feels alive rather than mechanical. The embroidery is worked onto a cotton and linen ground, giving the surface as much tactile interest as visual, and the creatures repeat at 40 centimetres vertically and 60 horizontally, a scale that suits both upholstery and curtains where the motif can be read clearly.
Made in India, the cloth is 130 centimetres wide and composed of linen, cotton and polyester. It is suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and should be dry-cleaned. The design is part of the Copacabana collection and is also available as a wallcovering.
