Barra Palace draws on Persian architecture and gardens, its arches, botanical motifs and intricate patterning screenprinted by hand onto linen. The design is complex and layered, a medium-scale pattern that rewards close attention, and the hand-printing gives each length subtle variations that machine production cannot replicate. It reads as both historical and fresh, the detail and craftsmanship evident in the cloth.
Made in India, the fabric is linen, 137 centimetres wide, with a 69-centimetre vertical and horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
