Basketweave Sheer is woven with a simple over-under structure that catches the light unevenly, giving the cloth a quiet shimmer as it moves. The basketweave reads as texture rather than overt pattern, and the mix of fibres introduces subtle variation across the surface—a characteristic of the weave and the yarns rather than a flaw.
Made in the United States from viscose, cotton and linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a modest repeat of 17 by 18 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth is intended for curtains, blinds and as a voile or sheer, where its translucency and slight lustre filter daylight without blocking it entirely.
