Bayeux Velvet is a dense, low-pile velvet woven from cotton, polyester and cashmere, which gives the cloth a soft hand and a muted lustre. The pile is short and close, so the surface reads as smooth and even rather than plush, and the cashmere content adds warmth and weight.
Woven in Italy, it is 145 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, and is offered in neutral colourways.
