Bees Knees Cut Velvet, designed by Mary McDonald, sets a geometric pattern into cut pile against a flat ground, so the motif catches light differently depending on where you stand. The contrast between dense velvet and smooth weave gives the design a graphic clarity without hardness. The cushion is finished with a welt in Gustave Silk Lip Cord, a detail that frames the face neatly.
Woven in Italy from viscose and polyester, the velvet is constructed as a jacquard. The cushion comes with a feather and down fill and a concealed zip, and is available in several sizes. Dry cleaning is recommended. The welt is a blend of cotton, silk, polyester and nylon.
