Before Midnight is a romantic floral wallpaper created in Backdrop's Los Angeles studio by using a kneaded eraser to lift pigment from a solid charcoal ground. The technique produces a soft, atmospheric pattern with a medium scale, the flowers emerging as if through mist. It works equally well wrapping an entire room or as a single focal wall.
Made in the United States, it is sixty-nine centimetres wide with a seventy-six-centimetre vertical repeat and a sixty-nine-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from rolls just over nine metres long. It is spongeable and comes in several colourways.
