Schumacher | Bellezza Damask

Bellezza Damask is a jacquard-woven grasscloth with a tonal damask pattern that reads quietly against its ground, the traditional motif given a whitewashed finish so it sits back rather than announcing itself. The effect is one of restrained texture and subdued pattern working together, the weave adding a natural, handmade quality to the formality of the damask.

Made in South Korea, it is 91 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 46 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 36 centimetres, sold by the metre from rolls of 7.312 metres. Washable, it is a practical choice for walls where a textured, tonal damask is wanted without overt decoration.
