Bennet Silk Damask is a satin-woven jacquard in which intricate paisley motifs nest inside a formal damask framework, the pattern built entirely from the interplay of warp and weft. The silk catches and releases light across the design, so the ornament appears to recede and advance depending on where you stand. The scale is generous—a 79-centimetre vertical repeat—and the effect in a room is one of considered opulence.
Woven in India from dupioni and cultivated silk, the cloth is 137 centimetres wide with a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in four colourways.
