This cushion is made from Bensley Boucle, a looped cloth with irregular horizontal stripes that depart from the usual solid or mélange bouclé. The loops are extra-long, giving the fabric a soft, enveloping texture, and the stripe adds a graphic, offbeat quality. Finished with a knife edge, the cushion has a feather and down fill and a hidden zip.
Woven from a blend of 31 per cent synthetic and natural fibres, 22 per cent cotton, 22 per cent nylon, 13 per cent viscose and 6 per cent wool, it is 46 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. The cushion suits sofas, armchairs and beds where texture and a relaxed stripe can bring warmth and interest.
