Schumacher | Bhuttis Sheer

Bhuttis Sheer is an open-weave linen-blend casement embroidered with motifs borrowed from traditional Indian saris. The artisanal detailing and rustic hand give it a relaxed, layered quality, while the embroidered pattern runs in a gentle stripe across the cloth. The scale is domestic and unassuming, softening light without closing a room down.

Woven and embroidered in India from sixty per cent linen and forty per cent polyester, it is 147 centimetres wide with a fifteen-centimetre vertical repeat and a thirty-three-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds and sheer layering where a textured, natural finish is wanted.
