Biarritz Ruche is a narrow jacquard tape with a gathered, textured surface that catches the light in gentle folds. The ruched effect brings subtle movement and a soft, dimensional quality to edges and seams, a detail that reads as considered rather than decorative.
Woven in China, almost entirely of acrylic with a touch of polyester, it is 3 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits the leading edges of curtains, the borders of cushions and the finishing of upholstered furniture, where its modest width and tactile surface add quiet definition.
