Birds of Paradise is a printed cotton that mimics the texture of a woven jacquard, the pattern built from stylised tropical birds and foliage arranged in a repeating lattice. The print captures the dimensional quality of a woven cloth, with shading and detail that suggest depth and structure, and the repeat is small enough to read as an all-over pattern rather than a series of isolated motifs.

Printed in the United Kingdom on pure cotton 137 centimetres wide, it carries a 39-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, offering the character of a woven jacquard with the lighter weight and easier drape of a printed cotton. Dry cleaning is recommended.
