Bixi Velvet Pillow draws on chinoiserie motifs to conjure a fantastical dragon in dense pile and loop velvet, the pattern emerging through contrasts of texture rather than colour alone. Designed in-house at Schumacher, it reads as both playful and richly worked, the dragon coiling across the face of the cushion with a tactile, almost sculptural presence.
Woven in Belgium from a blend of synthetic and natural fibres with cotton and polyester, the velvet is made up as a 56‑centimetre square cushion with self‑welt edging, feather and down pad, and a concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended. The design is available in several colourways.
