Blair Silk Épinglé derives from a fragment of an eighteenth-century man's suit worn in Williamsburg, the original velvet recreated here with dense cotton pile against a smooth silk ground. The textural contrast between the two gives the floral pattern a subtle, shifting presence, the pile catching light where the silk stays flat.
Woven in India from 87% cotton and 13% silk, the cushion is made with a knife-edge finish and comes in eight colourways across four sizes. It is supplied with a feather and down pad and a concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended.
