Blake Polished Cotton is a crisp cotton poplin given a polished finish that brings a subtle sheen to the surface without tipping into gloss. The cloth has the ease of a shirting weight but enough body to hold a fold, so it reads as both relaxed and composed. The plain weave takes colour cleanly, and the range of colourways makes it straightforward to layer with other fabrics or use alone.
Woven in India from 100 per cent cotton, it is 141 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in a wide range of colourways.
