Bosphorus Hand Block began as a spontaneous doodle in collaboration with Drusus Tabor, its lopsided circles and undulating lines calling to mind the exuberant abstractions of Ottoman embroidery. The medium-scale pattern has an irregular, hand-drawn quality that reads as both graphic and organic.
Printed by hand in India on pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 17 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 20 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and light upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
