Bougainvillea is a small-scale botanical print by Mark D. Sikes, its delicate flowers and foliage arranged in a repeating pattern that layers easily with other designs without competing for attention. The china blue colourway in particular has the clarity of transfer-printed china, the sort of pattern that recedes into gentle decoration rather than announcing itself.

Printed in the United States on a cotton-linen ground, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 69-centimetre vertical repeat and 33-centimetre horizontal repeat. The cloth is 55% linen and 45% cotton, and dry cleaning is recommended. It is offered in three colourways and suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, including occasional chairs and headboards where a botanical print feels at home.
