Schumacher | Braided Bacbac Shimmer

Braided Bacbac Shimmer is made by plaiting narrow strips of bacbac—bark from the banana tree—into a textured, dimensional surface that is then laid onto a metallic paper ground. The result is a wallcovering with both natural character and a reflective, polished finish.

It is made in South Korea, 91 centimetres wide, and sold by the metre from rolls of 7.312 metres. The wallcovering is spongeable and intended for walls. It is available in one colourway.
