Bristol Weave Épinglé takes the traditional basket-weave and works it with an épinglé loop, the familiar structure acquiring a refined, slightly raised surface. The pattern is small-scale and reads as texture rather than overt geometry, the weave durable but not coarse.
Woven in the United States from viscose with nylon, it is 132 centimetres wide with a two-centimetre repeat both vertically and horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, where its durability and restrained character make it practical for regular use.
