Brompton sets a traditional stripe against a sawtooth motif, the two geometries working in counterpoint to create a pattern that is both disciplined and restless. The vertical repeat is minimal at one centimetre, so the rhythm reads as continuous, while the horizontal repeat of fourteen centimetres gives the design its lateral structure.
