Schumacher | Burashi Texture

Burashi Texture is a jacquard weave with a double-brushed finish that gives the cloth a soft, almost felted hand and the irregular surface of a handloomed textile. The ikat-inspired pattern repeats at 22 centimetres vertically and 18 horizontally, the brushing blurring the edges slightly so the design reads as painterly rather than precise.

Woven in Italy, it is 78 per cent cotton, 14 per cent polyester and 8 per cent acrylic, 143 centimetres wide, and machine washable. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, the soft hand and artisanal character bringing warmth to both seating and window treatments.
