Burley is a floral lattice handprinted on linen, the pattern small in scale and gently exotic in character. The handprinting, done in England, gives each repeat subtle variations in depth and register, so the design reads as crafted rather than mechanical. The modest repeat suits both curtains and upholstery without overwhelming smaller pieces.
Printed in the United Kingdom on 100 per cent linen, it is 135 centimetres wide with an 11-centimetre vertical repeat and a 7-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in six colourways. The design is also available as a wallcovering.
