Burnell Butterfly takes a butterfly stamp as its starting point and translates it into a screen-printed pattern on cotton canvas, the hand of the print allowing tonal shifts and small irregularities that give the design a gentle, modern character. The motif reads as both whimsical and quietly graphic, the repeat large enough to let each butterfly settle clearly on the cloth.
Screen-printed in France on 100 per cent cotton canvas, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 52-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal. The fabric is offered in several colourways and suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery; wash warm.
