Schumacher | Button Flower Sheer

Button Flower Sheer is a plain linen voile embellished by hand with rosettes and French knots, the embroidery applied in a repeating pattern that reads as delicate ornament rather than surface decoration. The 25-centimetre vertical repeat and 17-centimetre horizontal keep the motifs spaced so the cloth retains its airy quality.

Made in India from 100 per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds and sheers, the hand-worked detail and natural fibre bringing a quiet femininity to windows where light is to be diffused and privacy maintained without heaviness.
