Cajamarca Stripe is a woven cotton in which colour-drenched yarns are twisted together before weaving, so the stripes emerge irregular and striated, with an artisan character. The effect is lively rather than regimented, the colours bleeding softly into one another.
Woven in India from pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 44-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions where a relaxed, handmade quality is wanted.
