Caldwell Patchwork Chintz is a trompe-l'œil printed cotton that imitates a quilted patchwork, with floral bouquets framed by squares of graphic pattern. The design has a playful, folk-art quality, but the light chintz finish—a subtle glaze on the cloth—gives it a more polished, sophisticated character. At a 69-centimetre square repeat, the pattern reads as medium to large scale, best appreciated on generous pieces or full-length curtains.
Printed in Thailand on 100 per cent cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide and recommended for dry cleaning. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
