Camberwell Vase Print derives from a hand-block print of the nineteen-thirties, its vases of flowers and songbirds rendered in a loose, painterly style that preserves the irregularities of the original printing method. The pattern has the charm of something made by hand rather than machine, the repeat generous enough to let each vase stand as its own composition.
Printed on pure linen in the United Kingdom, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of one hundred centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
