Schumacher | Carmo Gimp

Carmo Gimp is a single-stripe gimp half a centimetre wide, narrow enough to sit unobtrusively along a seam or the edge of a lampshade. It offers definition without weight, a line of colour that frames rather than announces.

Woven in the United Kingdom, chiefly of linen with a small amount of cotton, it can be sponge-cleaned. It suits upholstery, cushions and curtains where a restrained finish is preferred, and works equally well on smaller items such as lampshades.
