Carmo Tape Medium uses a traditional Swedish weave structure to create offset satin stripes in cotton and linen, the different fibres catching light in subtly different ways so the stripes read as quiet geometric interest rather than bold pattern. The four-centimetre width makes it a noticeable detail without overwhelming the piece it trims.
Woven in the United Kingdom from cotton and linen, it is available in three widths, of which this is the middle option. It is spongeable. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstery, where the dimensional weave and satin finish add understated texture and a soft sheen to edges and seams.
