Carmo Tape Wide, designed by Stephanie Seal Brown, uses a traditional Swedish weave structure to create offset satin stripes in cotton and linen. The stripes are subtle rather than bold, bringing a dimensional, geometric interest that reads as texture as much as pattern.
Woven in the United Kingdom from sixty-one per cent cotton and thirty-nine per cent linen, it is eight centimetres wide with a five-centimetre horizontal repeat. It can be sponged clean. It suits curtains, upholstery and cushions, and the satin-weave stripes catch light differently as they turn around a seam or edge. Available in four colourways.
